I heard it was supposed to be out today but i guess not
Are you sure it was Customize that was supposed to be out today? If I'm not mistaken, I thought SummerBoard was supposed to be out by today and it was out yesterday.. But, If not, then they still have until 12 PST.
I don't understand, Customize works perfectly on 1.1.3. It always has.
doesn't work on mine even if i do the tap tap revolution trick, doesn't change anything
I don't know what you're talking about. Just
move everything from /private/var/root/Library/Customize to /private/var/mobile/Library/Customize,
Then do that exact same thing with DockSwap.
Then create symlinks in the /private/var/root/Library/ to /private/var/mobile/Library/Customize and /private/var/mobile/Library/DockSwap
Then, download my customize fix from Installer.
After you have that, download any set of of Customize Images that have Carrier Images.
Navigate to ~/Library/Customize/CarrierImages/whatEverTheNameOfThePackageYouDownloadedIs and find a matching pair of images.
Rename those Default_CARRIER_IPOD.png and FSO_CARRIER_IPOD.png and
paste them into /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/
Next, open up SSH or Terminal and type this: chmod 4755 /Applications/Customize.app/Customize
That's it. Enjoy!
what are the symlink commands?
can someone even teach me how to ssh into my ipod? if the can can you email me at email@example.com thanks!
u have mail thorracing160 check it out, and skylar thanks for the tip, i dint know i have to do symlinks and move the directory
Customize doesn't need an update it works just fine with my 1.1.3
will this make you able to change how many dock icons you have? b/c thats the only thing i need working
