Looking desperately everywhere for an app to keep track of all my montly spendings.

There's tons of web-based apps but obviously they don't work when I need to write down an expense when I have no wi-fi connection. MobileMoney in the installer is useless. (still under development)

Bah I guess I could use Notes for now...but something cool with calculations would be nice

Have you tried PocketMoney from Catamount Software? It's in the Productivity folder in Installer.

I tried pocketmoney out.. it is much better. But it's still kinda bad. There's no feature to edit accounts you create or delete them. The UI is a bit confusing. And there is a tools button with no tools in it (yet).

Anything that's really simple..? Something where.. everytime I make a purchase, I can make note of it in the program, and categorize the purchase under "food" or "gas" or "rent" or something. Then it'll produce a graph to where the majority of my money goes. How much is being spent weekly, monthly, or yearly.

I see it the other way around... PocketMoney feels like it was a bad port of a computer application, MobileMoney at least feels like it was made FOR the iPod.

Sure it's not as jam packed with doodads, but it's easier to manage a simple checking/savings account.
