I'm curious to see if anyone has a Bricked... as in completely unusable iPot. I'm debating wether to do the jailbreak or not and I would like to see if anyone has actually rendered their iPod Touch inoperable. Thanks in advance.

No, because you can force the ipod into recovery mode.

Same for me. I think there is always a way to restore, I also had to use another computer but it worked.

    So don't do it.

This has almost got to the stage where people are asking for a negative to be proved. There must be a hundred threads here with people howling that they've bricked their Ipod, and every time it gets resolved.

Nobody can guarantee you won't permanently trash your ipod, but the evidence say you won't. It's up to you, as it's still your risk.
