I'm looking for a low-priced ICS tablet, and I found Ainol. Their Aurora and Elf tablets look pretty good, just wondering if anyone has anything to say about them, or if there's a better cheap tablet with a resolution above 800x480?

sorry, I meant to say a cheap android tablet. :) I can't see switching to webOS, especially since HP has abandoned it. :p

You can dual boot webOS and android on the touchpad

Well CM9 is pretty decent on it. I rarely ever actually use WebOS on mine.

I second the HP Touchpad, runs great with CM9. If you dont want discontinued hardware, then I would recommend installing CM9 on an Amazon Kindle Fire.

Unfortunately, the only decent tablet with ICS out of the box at this point is the Transformer Prime, and thats certainly out of your price range so the custom rom route is your only option.

    that stinks..becaues the Fire doesn't have a Micro SD! I can't live with 8GB (6GB) storage..
And, here, it's only $150. That's pretty cheap. I heard the Aurora is out of stock and, and they are going to have an updated version in less than a month though, one with a true dual-core cpu.
And, I looked up the touchpad, and it looks like it's $200-$300... I seem to remember them having a huge sale, for like $99 and $149 for 16 and 32gb models. I'd hate to pay that much though. :S

and wow, yes, the Transformer Prime more than I want to spend

edit: I checked the specs on the touchpad..and well, if I'm gonna have a big tablet, I'd want excellent resolution. that's why I really am leaning towards the Aurora [or perhaps Elf, though I believe the Elf lacks IPS display]. It has a 7" 1024*600 IPS display. And I watched a review on the Aurora, and it was very favorable.
