Hey Guys, just wondered if anyone was like me and has decided to hold off upgrading to 2.2 for now.

Read some forum posts and it seems BBC iPlayer is incompatible with 2.2, people are reporting problems with Cydia.

I freshly jailbroke to 2.1 a few weeks ago and so far its all been really stable so im not going to fix something that isnt broken.. and plus I dont even think the new features in 2.2 interest me. I use the podcaster app on Cydia to download podcasts over the air so that feature really wont be useful to me

I'm going to hold off until mostly everything is ported over & running smoothly!!
Unless you have a 3g iPhone, there really is no need for us iPod Touch owners to update

An iPod Touch is like a stepchild to the iPhone, cause they sure don't get much attention!!! LOL

I upgraded and now cant get iPlayer to work, strongly recommend holding off until the dust has settled. I never normally upgrade straight away How bad do I feel now

I'm gonna wait until all of the reported problems are fixed and I have a night home alone with nothing to do.

My bad, just thought since it was a new firmware that everything that works on 2.1 needed to be updated to work on 2.2...Sorry for the noob assumption!!
I see that you have an iPod Touch 8gb 1st gen like me so my question to you is, have you updated to 2.2???
