I bought one with my iPad this morning, and to be honest, I can't stand it. I want a case that I can slip my iPad in and out of without issue, and a case that will actually protect it.

While I love the idea of the official case, it's way not working for me. I don't want to have to pry my iPad out when I don't feel like using the case, which I can see I won't use much, as the iPad is so easy to carry around the house.

Anyone else really disappointed in the official iPad case?

I like it, but I agree that the fit is very tight and it's hard to take out. I like to keep my devices covered though, so for me it's a feature, not a bug

Ahh, damn. That's not good. I'm not going to like it if I ever get an iPad. I love keeping my iPhone out of a case when I'm at home, so I need a case that I can easily slide it in and out of...

Same here, with my iPod. I can probably count on one hand how long my iPod has been out of its case. (Hint: Less than 5 minutes).

I like cases that are stylish, and just work.

    I'll probably get this case.

I agree with Bgizzle. I like to keep it in a case.

I'm going to keep it around and try stretching it a bit. For my iPod Touches, I've always use iPod socks with great success. I know there's an "iPad Sock" from some third party company, but IMO, something like that won't do much for an iPad.

I was also disappointed to see that Incase only released a few sleeves - I was hoping for some sort of messenger bag from them for the iPad.

I'm going to keep an eye out for a nice messenger bag to replace the official case. In the mean-time, however, I at least need to protect it somehow. I'll post back here after I use the case some more and see if it loosens up a little.

Also, when using it as a "picture frame" be VERY careful. Mine doesn't balance well, and teeters quite a bit.

I actually like the offical case for now, but I just placed an order for a StealthArmor case.

This seems to be more along the lines of what your wanting.

I ordered the clear on and the wood grain one. Check them out

i agree the apple case is hard to get your iPad in and out of, the trick is to keep your pad straight in the case which is hard to do when your tryna take it out

I like to keep my devices covered too, so all my cases are form-fitting in-use cases. This one is perfect!
