If I record a video in a silent room and play it back, I hear constant tic tic tic sounds throughout the entire video. This is only present on playback, I do not hear it while I am recording or if the video contains a lot of ambient noise. Hmmmm......

It only happens to acouple people which really realllly sucks. There's already a thread about it and only 2 people from these forums, I believe, are the only ones who don't have the ticking sound. You can try using a 3.5 mm external mic though... since it overrides the rear mic.

Why? Theres much more to the touch then video recoding. Plus who knows, it may be a bug that will be fixed in. 4.2.

I second this^^^^ BUT only if you bought it at a store near you instead of online. Those who don't have the ticking are really lucky.

I will wait it out a bit and see if any other info surfaces as to a cause and/or resolution. Glad I'm not the only one with it. Thanks for the replies.

It's the same for the voice recorder. I hope this doesnt turn out to be a major problem... But honestly, who records in a completely silent setting? And if it is silent, why would you care? Are your trying to record nothing? The iPod Touch 4 paradox. :O

Thats the best thing to do. Returning it just seems silly.
