Never heard of Scosche in the headphone business.

Only heard about them in the accessory department.

They look nice, and comfy, course looks don't relate to quality.
I wish I could test them out. I don't need more headphones though.

I own four pairs of headphones as well, including Sennheisers and wireless Jaybirds, so I didn't want to invest in another pair.

However, they do sell just the Tapline remote (without mic) for $19.99 (+sh). It works very well and I love being able to skip tracks (forward and back) and adjust volume without taking my iPod Touch out of my pocket or backpack.

The Tapline plugs into your headphone jack and then you plug in whatever headphones you like to use. My Sennheisers had their own volume but I just turn it up all the way and then readjust only using the Tapline.

Sounds quite handy, but Volume Media Settings allow me to change the track using my volume buttons.

You have to be jailbroken to use Volume Media Settings, correct? I haven't bothered with either my 1g or 2g.

The Tapline also lets you pause/play.

The Tapline is convenient in the car so I can use the controls without even looking at or touching my iPod.

True, that is quite handy, and yes, you do have to be jailbroken.
