No, he doesn't have cancer according to what he has said so far.

He has some sort of hormonal unbalance that is causing his unhealthy weight loss.

    Two things:

    1. If the jailbreak is hardware related, apple can't stop it.
    2. Apple can't block windows users from jailbreaking, and Microsoft doesn't care about jailbreaking.

Apple can't do anything about it.
From chronic-dev's blog " since they can very easily make it work on 2.2 and beyond."
Its obvious that this exploit could be moved into newer versions of the 2g ipod, as they already stated that the exploit was found in 2.1 but they are able to use the same exploit (which WAS GONE in 2.2 by apple) to jailbreak a 2.2
See the logic, they must have some way of importing the exploit into other versions, so that they can use it for those versioins as well.
    Just some speculation : P

When I JB my 2G16GIg iPod I am going to feel so guilty for doing it.I didn't have the 1 G and I've never jailbroken before.Did you guys feel shame or guilt when you JB it? :(.He has pancreatic cancer and he is the creator of the #1 hardware ever and we are manipulating it =(((((((
