    I'm still having trouble with the installer. It downloads some things okay but other things it gets half way through and exits out. Any ideas?

    You both have reached you app space limit, you need to remove this limit with the boss tool application. First you will need to add this source sleepers.net/iphonerepo then you will need to delete some applications so you can install bosstool, after you install bosstool open it up choose free disc space and tap move apps
    Remember to make sure you type in source correctly make sure the word iphone in the url has a LOWERCASE letter p

    or if you want to keep all the apps without uninstalling this is more complicated but ok here
    copy and paste each line I will leave 2 lines so you know that it is a different command go download putty then ssh into your ipod with it so here we go

    mv /Applications /private/var/Applications

    cd /

    ln -s /private/var/Applications Applications

    ls -la

    in the stuff that comes up, you should have an entry similar to this one:
    lrwxr-xr-x 1 root admin 25 Oct 12 22:31 Applications -> /private/var/Applications

    Credits go to: SwedishViking Make sure to thank him

    I only have about that many pages of apps also. I thought this might be the problem so I uninstalled a whole slew of applications that I didn't use that often but it still happens.

    Edit: I just tried to install the bosstool application, and it just stopped on the install phase and went to the springboard like it has been.

    It may be the sources that you're using. Try using a more reliable source to download your apps from.
