I know there has been methods with past iOS betas to bypass UDID check like editing a plist file inside the ipsw firmware package. But has anybody found a way to do so with iOS 4.2 beta?

If anyone have information on that subject, please post your findings.

Why not just get your UDID registered?

It IS possible on the iPad, why would Apple release the beta for iPad if you can register the iPad's UDID? you do it the same way as for any other device...

Look, Beta software is strictly available to developers to test there apps for compatibility.

    But I understand you

Just get your UDID registered. If you can find somebody who develops apps they might be kind and allow you to get registered.
But know this, beta software is incredibly buggy and many things do not work.

Like in 4.0 betas 1+2 the camera app did not function..

Alas, i don't know any developer. Finding a way to test this new beta without a UDID will not lead to piracy as there is no way to jailbreak it for now anyway. But jailbreaking isn't the point. Testing out a beta version of an os that is going to be free anyway... That is the point.
