I am thinking about buying the 3rd generation iPod touch 32gb model and was curious if there are any problems with interlacing/scan lines with them when watching movies/videos. I remember reading them about the 2nd gen 32gb model, but wanted to see if they fixed this or not.

Any insight would be much appreciated.

Yeah, I have never heard of that happening, the screen has slight refresh lines, but all of them do, from the 1G touch to the 3gs. you only notice them when you are violently shaking the device and looking at the screen, and they are a lot better than the ones on a PSP or a NDS.

    The screen is ok.

I haven't seen anything like that myself either, on both a 16gb 1st gen and a 8gb 2nd gen touch or on a 8gb iPhone 2g or a 16gb iPhone 3g. But what I was reading, and now your'e making me question it, was that it was a problem with the 2nd gen 32gb model specifically.

Edit, thanks for the quick replies by the way.

I got that problem once, but that was because I used the wrong converter. If I watch videos from iTunes or Youtube there is no problem.
