So uh yeah, 4.0 is out and I have a currently unjailbreakable device and I'm trying to get iPodOut.app to show up or do something. No matter what I do though, nothing is outputted through to the TV. If I was jailbroken, I could unhide the icon and launch it manually but I can't jailbreak yet so anyone seen any sign of it working yet or no? For those who don't know what I'm talking about, in the betas, there was an app called iPodOut.app that played video through the TV to show what the iPod was playing and someone made a video of it but I've heard nothing else about it since then.

if I'm not mistaken, iPodOut.app is in the framework as a separate app, but is used through the built-in iPod app. You control all of the output features from within the iPod application, or the video application (iPod Touch)

Right, but when iPodOut.app is launched, then it starts outputting to the TV. Do you know if there's any way to launch it on an unjailbroken device?
