Any pointers to a good video converter!!!! Also cover flow is not working for video

    Hi tried finding a similar problem on this thread but it seems like I m the onle one.
    Which is the best video converter for convertinf AVI/MPEG/WMV files to mp4 format???


    Also i tried videora to convert videos but somehow my coverflow for videos is not working.
    All the videos r played in landscape mode..............

    Plz help me out

    there is no coverflow for videos. thats just for music. and videos only play in landscape mode unless you're streaming them from a website inside of safari.

    If you don't want them to play in landscape just use a converter that allows you to rotate videos 90 degrees, i know that some converters do that but sorry i forgot the names

    Well I was looking at the ipod touch video from apple.com. And it shows that the videos can be rotated in both landscape n portrait.....
    Also itunes support cover-flow for videos..........

    Neway plz suggest some good video converters...........

    well duh, if you were reading correctly to the above posters, only videos being played through safari can be played either way, including apple.com.

    just cause itunes support this, doesnt mean the touch can.

    and for the video converters, i only know Videora. sorry bud.

    Well thanx for the info buddy............

    but I had some problems with videora, most of the movies converted thru it hangs while playing...
    and video lags audio.............

    Yeah, that's a common issue. I faced that hardship COUNTLESS times. Try messing around with the frequencies and bitrates... I did that, and it finds its place. It also depends on the video type.... some are better than others.
