Plain and simple on this one, can some people name different Linux tablets?

    Must have:
    at least x1 USB port
Wi-Fi, or able to connect a Wi-Fi dongle (then I must have x2 USB ports)
    More than 1GB RAM

    Would like:
    Able to run virtual box
can change the Linux OS (ex. put on backtrack 4, ubuntu, ect.)

I would like to be able to take it to my school and mod my iPod and stuff like that. Thanks

There is no Linux tablets like this available.

Android and Chrome OS are about the only Linux OS's you will see on tablets.
Chrome OS isn't out yet nor hardware with it.

So Android devices are best, but as far as I know there is none that are like you described out. If you want an Android based one, I would look at Archos (though they all lack Google support, which means no Android Market).

    Best bet: Netbook

I thought there are tablets that can be easily hacked to put Linux on? I guess I thought wrong.

Any cheap tablets I can get to be able to SSH into my iPod somehow? I know there is the Archos with windows but thats too expensive...

I wanted a touch screen =/ Netbook might work but I would love touchscreen.

Don't under estimate the power of Android, which most of Archos products run.
I am sure there is an app that you could SSH into other device with simple, just might need a little more knowledge. I don't know yet, since my only Android experience is through SDK

Play with it, and play with my iPod's system from it. I got the idea when I got a boot loop at school and had to wait until I was home, if I had some type of tablet like this I would of been able to fix it on the spot. So yea.

You could wait for the Dell tablet coming out.

    Link?

Is it more expensive than the Archos 9 coming out? I love that, looks perfect for me!

How come on the site, it says notify me, but on best buy you can buy it? Is it out or coming out?
