so im in the hacking process
    and it says go here

    /Applications/Installer.app/Installer

    but there is only Library.

so i put installer.app in there
and i cant get to it, it keeps telling me it doesnt exist when im looking right at it

so i made Applications and put it there, and it still says no such file or directory, any ideas?

how can i list files to see what IS there? ls doesnt wrk

    Hey,
I'm having the same problem of not having an Applications folder when I login to my ipod Touch. Did you manage to find a fix or did the restore work for you? Thanks

restore and use touchfree, you may have done something wrong during manual jailbreak

I had the same problem, but then I tried changing the directory from /private/var/root/ to / and it listed Applications.
