Well for starters do you have a background in programming? And if so what languages are you experienced in?

If you know nothing about programming then I wouldn't jump straight into objective-c. Get to know C or C++ first then move on to Objective-C. If you have a hard time getting used to C then start out with something lower like HTML or a scripting language such as PHP or JavaScript. HTML would probably be the easiest then work your way up to JavaScript, then PHP, then C and C++, then have a shot at Objective-C.

Not quite sure. I never really took the time to learn JAVA. From the looks of what I just looked at, it seems pretty different. I recommend reading through this just incase:

It's very simple, and since you have some background in programming I'm sure it won't be too hard to pick C up. Once you get the basic structure of C, like functions, pointers, variables, and such then you could move into Objective-C with not too many problems. There's a good chance that you won't understand Objective-C going from JAVA to Objective-C, but going from C to Objective-C would probably be a lot easier.

Well thats not always true, I never learned any other code before I started to learn objective c, and I picked it up fairly quickly.

Haha that's pretty much what I did too, but I want to make the process easier for beginners.

    Thanks for the links.
