Hey, I was wondering how many of you use the "Free Memory 1.4" app from the app store. I wanted to get some peoples' opinions about the update coming up called "Free Memory 1.5." I hear they will be taking out the battery meter in this new update, which is really pissing me off. The reason being because apple doesn't permit it.

My real question is, do you think that Apple is going to force the developers to shut down 1.4 after the 1.5 update comes out, because I was really planning on not upgrading to 1.5 because of the loss of the battery meter (which I really like)? What do you think?

I've got Free Memory 1.4 with the battery meter. I'm not real sure how much I need the meter anyway, so if the move to 1.5 is free I might go for it.

i heard about the taking out the battery thing and idk if Apple can do that because that would be quite a few apps to forcably update and what about the people who dont update it on itues or via wifi?

I thik they might have to killswitch it?? Disable killswitch and you could be OK. If it is a new app, you are 100% safe. If it is an upgrade, just watch out.

If you want the numeric battery that it displays, get SBSetting and enable numeric battery, they read the exact same.
