I'm looking for a real durable cover for the iPod touch 4G, one that can take a heavy beating. Either that or a resourceful water-proof cover that's in the form of an actually cover. Anything?

I think he means something more severe than scratches, like falls on the ground

Speck Rubberized Pixelskin is probably the most rugged case for now until Otterbox comes out with a case for the 4G.

Should I wait out for the Otterbox or should I just purchase a Speck?

Otterbox is notorious for taking a long time to come out with cases for new models, so unless you're willing to wait possibly as long as a few months I would get the Speck Pixelskin now. You can always get the Otterbox later when it eventually comes out.

Wait for the Otterbox! They're the best, hands down. Use a Meritline or DealExtreme case until then.

Otterbox would definitely be the most protective! Bulky though.

I can't afford to have a cheap case at the moment though. I'm sinking in for a Candy Shell. Are they good?
