    I was wondering if there was any way to make apps temporarily invisible, but able to re-appear with a tap or something where they are. That way, I could seeming clean up my springboard when I was showing it off, or if I decided that was stupid, just tap them and have them re-appear. Also, it would allow for unique customization of the springboard, like making it appear to only have 2 rows of apps.

    So any chance it exists?

    yes there is something called appreveal please search for it, it is pretty simple,

    Cheers,
    Ben.

    EDIT: OK just download the edited settings (preferences) and set appreveal to on, then add this code to any info.plist for any app
    Code:
    <key>SBIsRevealable</key>
    <true/>

    and just double click a app to make it disappear or reappear.
