I tried TouchExplorer and SharePod, neither worked. Any 3rd-party file access, transfer, explorer, whatever can transfer files/music to my 2G touch?

If you want to use it as a pseudo-flash drive, you can use DiskAid. You can also sort of use it to get music off your device, though you have to drag the iTunes_Control folder into iTunes.

Thank you for reply. I just don't want to use itunes. I'll check DiskAid.

Yeah DiskAid works! Don't know how to transfer music to the touch though.
