Anti-Theft Destruction?

    I read around, and noticed even with the passcode protection, a thief could simply restore it on their own computer.

    However, are there any methods to make the 3rd generation ipod touch obsolete if stolen? As in, no possibility of restore (unless its tethered to a single home computer?)

    No. But wouldn't you be happy knowing that a thief doesn't have any of your music if they get the passcode wrong 5 times?

    well obviously,

    if your ipod touch has been stolen, would you rather the thief make use of it or render it useless?
