Another Noob's Question - Jailbreaking

    OK...

    Alright, there's no easy way to explain this so an example would be the best:

    OK, just say that Apple released a great new firmware with features that just couldn't be missed and a jailbreak by Geohotz for this new firmware was released.
    Does this mean that in order to upgrade and jailbreak the new firmware, I need to restore my iPod, set up new device, upgrade the firmware, then jailbreak - which will remove my jailbroken apps and themes etc...

    I know how to backup my jailbroken apps via iFunbox, but still...

    Yes it does, but you don't have to set it up as a new device
