Hello again! I recently bought an iPod touch 3G, I had the old 2G. I compared the screens and saw the older iPod had a normal display but the new one is yellowish! I bought the 3G for the better screen, I have been reading it was a pinkish view to it, is that true? Did I get a defective screen? Or is it normal?
    Thanks!

Really? 2nd gen and 3rd gen are practically the same . I compared my 3rd gen 32gb with my friend's 16 gb 2nd gen and the screen were exactly the same.

Maybe give it back to Apple and ask them for a new one?

For Some reason my 3G is a couple of minutes behind as well, whats wrong with it! lol (They are both Los Angeles Time Zone)

i compared my 2nd gen to my 2 friends' 2nd gen and the screens were different color even with the same screen protectors. one was yellow, one was brighter, and mine was kinda dull.

. I compared my 3rd gen iPod touch with your 3rd and 2nd gen. The 3rd gen's screen looks the same as mine. I can't see anything different. My iPod doesn't have any defect.

I'm not sure, but I think your iPod has no defect. I think the reason behind the yellowish tint is actually caused by Auto-Brightness. Auto -Brightness detects the lighting and changes the brightness of the iPod.

Try turning it off and see.

Here is a pic of my iPod Touch 3rd Gen

looks like it could be something with the auto-brightness. small difference, though.
