Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile) today announced the availability of the Samsung Behold™1, an advanced touch screen phone with premium multimedia features and full web browsing capabilities, exclusively through T-Mobile USA.

The Behold, a slim touch screen device available in a brushed espresso or light rose finish, empowers customers with high-speed connectivity and a full HTML web browser for faster access to the Web and the ability to upload images and videos online while on-the-go. For easy operation and navigation, the stylish Behold features three dedicated keys -- call, end call and back -- on the front of the device under the touch screen.

The Behold also provides quick and easy access to a customer's favorite features through Samsung's innovative TouchWiz™ user interface, which has specially designed widgets to customize and personalize your phone. The quick and simple 'drag and drop' feature allows users have instant access to their favorite functions, such as the clock, music player, instant messaging and photos and a custom widget for myFaves.

A fully packed multimedia device, the Samsung Behold also offers a music and video player for users to enjoy entertainment anywhere, as well as built-in AGPS, which allows users to utilize location-based applications. With stereo Bluetooth® wireless technology, speakerphone and voice activated dialing, the Behold allows customers to go hands-free.

    That is really true.

In my opinion I might just get a sidekick. They seem way cooler and are very popular down here xD

It looks like a good phone. The two things that caught my eye were the expandable memory and the 5 megapixel camera.

I'm willing to bet it still won't touch the iPhone. I'm by no means an Apple fanboy, but I don't think I've ever seen a touchscreen more responsive and intuitive than the iPhone.

    Plus multi touch, of course.

I wonder when people will learn that its not the Megapixels that counts, but rather the Lense. You can have a 12 Megapixel camera on your phone, but if the lens is pure feces, your pics will suck. They'll be big in size sure, but they'll suck major Chili Dogs.

    I know right ?
I don't know much about camera's but my dad was telling me this.
That's why you can get like a 10 MP camera for like 250.
    But they still suck.
    Boxes are so misleading.
