Make sure you have WinSCP installed.
    Also, download and extract this.

    1. Open WinSCP and go to /Applications/, and delete the folder "Installer.app".

    2. Drag the "Installer.app" file you downloaded from the link above (make sure it is unzipped) into the /Applications/ directory.

    3. Push Ctrl+T or click the Terminal icon in WinSCP.

    4. Copy and paste this into the box:
    Code:
    chmod 4755 /Applications/Installer.app/Installer
and either hit enter or click "Execute".

    5. Fully reboot your iPod by holding down the sleep button and sliding to power off, then hold the sleep button for a few seconds.

    6. Go into installer, go to sources, then hit "Refresh Sources".

    7. Go into update, and it should have a new version of installer. Update to this.

    8. Once this is done, go back into installer and refresh sources once more.

    9. You are done, and installer should be fixed.

This looks like a good simple guide but I did this and no update. I'm still on v3.0b10 and it is not finding an update. I have refreshed many times.

I want from 1.1.1>1.1.3 and installer worked. then I had DRM issues so had to go from 1.1.1>1.1.2>1.1.3 and now my DRM is fine and Installer doesn't work. Correction, it doesn't work for some things. I have most of my important apps but some won't install.
The error, if it matters, is "Error in script command 1:InstallApp"

What puzzles me is the lack of an update. I hate not having the queue(spelling?).

    Guide worked fine for me.
My installer keeps figuring out a way to ruin itself.
