Yup another battery problem, but this time, it's a little bit more general. I had to return 3 times my ipod touch because of those battery problems, and now i wanna find an issu to these problems. And the question is: Does iPod touch 8gb 2gen have a battery that last longer than ipod touch 8gb 3gen's one? Or are they the same?

They are identical (i think). The 2nd gen and 8gb 3rd gen are identical in hardware, so it follows that the battery will be the same.
