What's the need of Android being on an iPhone anyway?? And with the 4.0 coming up, you wouldn't want to miss Multitasking and Folders and so much more.

Anyway it is up to you whether you download Android or not. Just search the android on iphone in the search above.

1 yes it can be done on the iphone 3g
2 not it is really slow and laggy on the iphone
    3 yes it has service

the battery consumption on the iphone is horrible (one hour) but that could improve

BTW the iphone os is uber FAST you iphone is probably slow/laggy because you filled it with crap (mobile substrate) from cydia. Make a restore and you will notice a huge speed difference

    I'm with you brother,

The lagginess of the 3g on 3.x is unbearable.

Even if android were to be natively supported on the iphone hardware it wouldn't get any faster. If you want a faster iphone get the 3GS or wait for the new iphone (whatever its name going to be)

and don't fill your iphone with crap (mobile substrate) that you dont need
