Wasn't expecting decline in windows phone but blackberrys are poor. I'm not one bit surprised RIM have posted a $235 million loss. There has been no innovation in the Blackberry phones. At least not up until Blackberry 10 which is still a year from release.

As for IOS and Android, never doubted growth in both of them.

Why is it always U.S. growth? Why not global stats?

What the hell else is new? This crap is posted like every week and everyone already knows what it is going to say because Blackberry/Rim is ending and VERY FEW non MS geeks even know about Windows Phone, Much less have it.

It seems like the US has a higher percentage of smartphone users that use current phones. Or something like that

Let me rephrase, the US has a higher percentage of smartphone users than any (I think?) other country. Also a lot of the new phones are released in the US first, so you can tell how well they sell before they get to other markets.

INB4 It's just two companies, Apple and Google; iOS and Android competing for the market just like it was with Nokia and RIM about 10 years ago..

Global stats exists, so I guess whoever makes them is lucky.
Just saying I never see them on this site, it's always U.S.
