An iPod Touch/iPhone CAN be bricked!

    To all who say that there is no such thing as a "bricked" ipod touch/iPhone, well it's possible. If for example you install Android and your syscfg messes up, you're bricked. No DFU. Just wanted to point out.

    NOTE: Thread in "FP submissions" is a submission, not a double thread(I suppose?)

    There's always a fix for something. I'm sure someone will figure this out.

    ..legit? I thought a DFU restore was always an option because the NOR files couldn't be modified

    Once your syscfg is screwed, your device is screwed.

    Well there's Apple.. But they'll probably charge you out the ass to fix it...

    Apple wants to know why you were messing with syscfg and how you find it. There I see Apple's TOS.

    Coca Cola, if it wont turn on, go to apple logo, and dfu wont work, apple store employees wont question you. they will simply give you a new one

    What good would that do? How would I go about putting it back?

    That's. Awesome. Android is on the way to making it to the small screen in my pocket.
