yes i dont know anything about jb and coding but with the recently jb with a pdf exploit cant people email themselves the pdf exploit and run it in ibooks? or did the recently 4.0.2 actually make that actual pdf useless?

i am guessing that this wont work, but thought i would ask

Not sure how to put this in technological terms, but no. The 4.0.2 patch covered the hole where the PDF would get into and do its work, so-to-speak. No matter where you'd run it from, the hole is still covered.

All 4.0.2 did was patch the exploit. Therefore, no possible way you could do that.

It would be a good idea if the jailbreak forced you to save your SHSH blobs before you jailbreak, so there wouldnt be so many threads about the next jailbreak.

I'd like that. That would also mean that nobody would "accidently" update and lose the jailbreak, then bug the dev-team to make a new one and force them to leave the scene.

Which will presumably work also on 4.0.2.
