    according to the listed picture...
    the buds are matte, where the wire splits is too small, and the connector is large and has grips.

    that is according to the picture anyway, its a shame if they are using a picture of fakes.

    I own fake CX500s, If anyone wants to know any distinction between the real ones and the fake ones. And I bought them through an Amazon Seller.

    hm...there could be another explanation for this fake-like photo:
    for me there're two possibilities to create a photo for an article: photograph and edit it OR simulate it using a CAD modeling software

    so if it's simulated there can be small mistakes

    Amazon itself is not responsible for all the sellers at the amazon marketplace - but I don't think Amazon itself would sell faked Sennheisers - at least here in Germany they're real
