Amazon Placing Advertisements on New Kindles

    What about Apple and their iAds? Or the ads in android applications? Everything has ads, I don't see how this would be any different.

    Its annoying that it actually looked like Amazon had a chance on having a good all round tablet. Imagine walking in to the shop seeing it on display with a big advertisement on the front of the lock screen.i would just be like f**k that and walk over to the iPad.

    At least the iads are in the apps though. You can easily just pay for a no ads version of an app or just delete it.This is actually going to appear on the lock screen every time you turn on your kindle fire and you have no choice but to accept it.

    For removing the ads? C'mon, they could do better. I rate things by the stock software, not by the tweaks to enhance it.

    And you're at the lock screen for what? All of 2 seconds. And even that is pushing it.

    Then your loved iDevices are actually rather boring things. Jailbreaking really makes them.
