To the best of my knowledge Apple could unlock Fm radio in most of our newer iDevices without any difficulties. I would pay for this. Shame we can't really complain to someone. Unless I'm the only one who cares. How do you feel about it?

I was wondering the same thing...

WunderRadio and Pandora have been filling that empty spot for me

I'd like the radio feature unlocked. Apps like Pandora aren't that convenient for us iPod Touch users because it requires wifi.

It wasn't a big deal before because I could get all my local stations through apps on my phone, but now it seems like a waste of data for something I can get out of other devices. I'd rather listen to other locations stations if I'm going to use an app.

It's just a pain to go to another device for local radio when I always have my phone within arms length.

Could this be something a jailbreak app could get us?

Meh. I haven't listened to the radio in a long time. I have had my car for over a year now and still haven't set the presets up. Pandora and slacker make radio obsolete, to me anyway.

Off topic: Anyone else here commercials on pandora yet? I heard one the other day and almost tossed my phone out of my car window in anger

I really hope T-Mobile sticks with unlimited data plans. I'd probably go back to my razor and never buy another smartphone again. No internets everywhere and stupid caps would kill it for me. I'd pay per-bit if it was priced reasonably, but AT&T's plans are sh*t. I'd go over both in a few days.

Haha. I nearly did the same thing with my radio the first time I heard one on XM years ago when they were advertising it as commercial free still.

I live in a small market that keeps losing radio stations, so it would be nice to have but isn't ever going to be a deal breaker for me. Just an annoyance. Makes me feel like were all Apple's little kids and their waving their finger at us.

I want radio too. I want it to be like the one from the Nano, except you don't have to have headphones connected to it at all times.

That'd be tough I think because I know alot of device that have a radio feature use the headphones as antennas as well as audio output.

I'd love to have radio added.
