Am i Screwed

    Hey Guys
    Please forgive me for just joining today and posting this kind of topic straight away

    But its kinda urgent.
    Okay so here goes,
    i bought an ipod touch last year on the 14th November.
    Today the home button stopped working. tbh i dindnt mind, so i went to cydia and downloaded an app for the home button . so i use it for a while and i put my i pod on my dock . and for some reason, it just switches of

    and i have tried everything to turn it on, but i cant .. i have though of taking the front of and trying to get that home button to work and then try and restore it. but i dont think i could do that .

    Please could someone give me any info on what i could do ?
    i could send it to an apple store but it is jailbroken, wont they frown upon that ?

    Restore you ipod in itunes, take it too the apple store and get it replaced, if you bought it last novemember as long as you bought it new, you will get a replacement through the one year warrenty that comes with your ipod

    If your iPod is still under warranty (Check Here: https://selfsolve.apple.com/GetWarranty.do), simply restore or update the iPod with iTunes, and your jailbreak data will be erased. Take it to the Apple Store for repairs or replacement.

    That would be your best shot.
