Ok i'm gonna sound really stupid. Ok so i touchfreed my ipod touch about a month ago and have happily been using a freed ipod ever since. I just got home from a trip and plugged up my ipod to charge it and my brother comes in sees theres an update and hits install. I was gone at the time so now i have a 1.1.2 ipod thats stuck in jail. i'm not extremely computer savy so i don't want to go through the process of downgrading. But am i just going to have to wait for a touchfree for 1.1.2 and will my apps still be there?

    Whats so hard?

Go into iTunes, connect iPod, download the 1.1.1 firmware (Get it from around here, or from the touchdev site), and then in iTunes, Shift+Click the Restore button and select the file you just downloaded. You should now be downgrading to 1.1.1.

There are no JailBreaks for 1.1.2. Accirding to PlanetBeing, there won't be any; they are considering 1.1.2 JailBreak completed using the downgrade/upgrade method.

But feel free to wait for one.

Look in the jailbreak section to find the link to 1.1.1.

If I am not mistaken you can Shift + Click 'Check for Update'. That way you "update" to 1.1.1 and don't have to restore and lose everything.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

You have to use a higher iPod Touch firmware to upgrade to.

So you cant upgrade from 1.1.2 to 1.1.1

Wrong. You can upgrade to 1.1.1 from 1.1.2.

I have heard you can "upgrade" from 1.1.2 to 1.1.1, preserving your music and settings. I wouldn't advise it since starting from scratch and resyncing is a better time investment than having weird things go wrong later.

As for your apps, they have already been erased by the update
