Alternatives to Fring?

    Are there any alternatives to Fring because my school blocks it for some reason.

    If you're looking for calling, use the Skype app.
    If you want a good IM app, I'd reccomend Parlingo. Supports MSN Aim and a few others, and in my opinion is much better than Fring.

    Don't you need something like voip stunt(on the computer), and then select SIP on fring?

    EXACTLY WHAT HE SAID. But if you're on iPhone, I've heard that Palringo uses up your texts...

    I know about voipstunt but my school blocks fring in general and won't let me log in. It doesn't matter anyway because i am taking the iphone headphones back to walmart to get my 30 dollars back. I leave for the Air Force on June 2 and i don't think i need to worry to much about all this right now. Maybe after basic and when i get an iphone so i can just screw aroun with the ipod touch.

    currently I'm using Agile messenger (9.99) but i would recommend nimbuzz for its landscape keyboard.
