im trying to put something on my ipod touch (super monkey ball) via SSH but everytime during it, i end up getting an error that it could not transfer. no reason, just the error. then i tried copying it file by file but eventually i would get to the error again.
i have heard of a way to view the ipod in my computer but maybe theres alternatives. if not, then anyway to fix my problem?

    Hmmm...

There are programs that let you veiw your ipod in my computer but they won't let you acess the applications folder and I think that's what you're after. Try using a different SSH client and also you should make sure that you have enough room left on the system partition for the whole folder.

Also posting the exact error message would be helpfull.

Doesn't this mean he's asking for help committing piracy? As far I knew, you don't SSH apps unless you're pirating.

Reported. Super Monkey Ball seems to be a favorite for pirating at the moment.

Use iTunes if you're legal buddy. Sync apps via your Applications tab, near the top of your screen after you click your iPod tab.

For all you know he could be a tinker/hacker, which is neither illegal nor immoral. The DMCA gives protection to people implementing their own methods of breaking DRM-style encryption.

    Give me a break.

    Well...

i was think of ways cause im getting the same error.

    - maybe make a folder in the /applications folder called Monkey Ball.app.
then put in the files one by one.

    - or we ran out of space somehow...even if i recently restored it and have no music, movies, etc.

For now, it's good to brainstorm
