    Hey guys,
I'm trying to figure out a way to send the 8 bytes in RAW, without iRecovery and LibUSB. I know its possible I just can't seem to get it to work.
I would prefer to accomplish this through C# but if not then Java.
If anyone has some sample code or libraries for this please tell me.
    Thanks,
    -dim3000

Good idea. Unfortunately I am not an avid coder, so I really can't contribute....

Sounds good, especially if there is source available. I spent half a hour last night trying to make something like that for linux. I can get it to sit in a loop waiting for ipod then send boot command. And the ipod boots but it brings down the linux OS and you need to restart computer. Which wont work because its intended for use on router.

a good idea would to focus maybe on c or C++, and make it as general as possible so it can be ported to all platforms
