Has anybody ever purchased earphones from them? Care to comment or give your opinions about them? Thanks.

Altec Lansing is going to be a mixed bagged depending on what specific model you get. What they have done in the past, and they continue to do so, is that they purchase drivers from other IEM manufacturers. They have been known to buy from high ends in the past like Etymotic (HF5 BA drivers). They currently do have a few models out that use the Ultimate Ears SF4 drivers as well as 3 new customs that use ACS drivers. The SF4s are a great IEM, I'm sure Altec Lansings version of it is just as good. I have heard nothing buy good sounds come from ACS drivers in the past.

I have reviewed the SF4 (out of date somewhat though), HF2s (use the same drivers as HF5) as well as the ACS T15 on iFans.

I know very little about the other models they have out.
