Alright guys I am also building a gaming PC and am having a hard time finding the parts right for me (despite all of these threads)

Anyway, I have not settled on anything yet, but here is what I probably will get.

    Graphics : Radeon HD 4870 1Gb
Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 940

Now I need a mobo, and a cheap but good case as well as a power supply. I am on a pretty tight budget here but I want my computer to be good and fast

I would get intel core 2 duo or if you can afford it a quad core. As for cases/ Psu what are you interested in? clear side, lighting up? plain?
And that is an amazing GPU!
The whole Hd radeon line is marvelous this time around.

    Thanks for bringing this up...

WTF IS WRONG WITH GAME COMPANIES, are they high or something and trying to make ppl unable to run their games. Is it that hard to optimize games to run properly. My MBP has trouble running GTA on settings that any other (same graphics quality) game runs properly on. Most computers have more processing power than consoles so why can't they run the damn games!
