I figured it was time to introduce myself. Purchased my Touch a few weeks back jailbroke it the next day and upgraded to and jailbroke 2.2 yesterday. Now I am searching for application repositories and just general information to take full advantage of my Touch. Down side to it all is I am in Afghanistan and the network here blows. Some of the larger items might have to wait until I get back home next year as it took me two days to download 2.2.

    Welcome to iPod touch Fans!

Were you born in Afghanistan or are you just visiting / moved there? You speak really fluent English.

I guess you could say I am visiting. LAWLZ. I am in the military and this is my third time here now. I live in South Carolina at the moment but trying to get out of there upon my return from Afghanistan.
