I DFU updated my Ipod Touch 2g to the 3.0 os and then ran the jailbreak with redsnow .71 but here is my problem, my system space only has 49 megs out of 500 megs of space left(about 9.8%), on the old 2.2.1 jailbreak I had 25% free space(about 124 megs...), now I have almost none... Is this normal Or did my jb screw up?

If I put this thread in the wrong space i'm sorry, just kinda confused on this?!?!

You should have installed a fresh 3.0 using DFU mode instead of doing the initial update. Your previous JB apps etc. are still taking up space.

Restore (DFU) with iTunes and Re-Jailbreak. See what happens.

DO NOT hit the update button when updating to 3.0! Do a fresh restore with the restore button.

I have done this about 4 to 5 times, I just barely get any system space....
I wish I could make the system partition bigger...

Yea but if you just hit update in iTunes from a jailbroken 2.2.x then it will keep your apps and crap from the jailbreak instead of removing them like what would happen when hitting the "restore" button.
