Hey guys, I need some help, and fast.

Every time I attempt to open an application, the app crashes. It'll open to a white screen for about 10-15 seconds, then just crash back to the springboard.

For reference, I had just done the following:

    Installed:

    Safari Cookies Fix

    Bosstools

    Ebook permissions fix

and some other small things (games and the like, but I don't think they had anything to do with it...)

I'm almost positive BossTools messed up somehow, and so the symlink is bad. The app tries to open, but just crashes. Also, I suddenly had around 30 old, deleted apps appear on my springboard...

That's why I think BossTools is to blame; those apps wouldn't have reappeared for any other reason.

Any ideas of what to do??? I can't access any Apps to turn anything on, and I don't think SSH was on....... Is a restore in my future?

What about the most important one of all, BSD Subsystem?

Well, I THINK I had it installed, but I can't be sure. I'm pretty sure a restore would be easiest. most time consuming, but easiest, eh?

And make sure you install BSD Subsystem first right after you update the Installer and add Community Sources

Yeah, haha. I need to make myself a checklist of things to do after I restore. I almost always forget something, haha.

But doesn't BossTools refuse to move apps/install itself if you don't have BSD?

I know there have been a few Apps that yell at me if I forget to install it after an update/restore.

Hmmm. Oh well. I don't find restoring all THAT tedious, just a tad annoying.

I suggest you restore your iPod and next time make sure you have BSDSubsystem.
