The title pretty much explains it all. I sent my iPod Touch in for repair (my battery life is getting pretty bad). Of course, Apple refused to replace it, and instead upgraded me to firmware 2.2.1 from 2.2.0 and wiped my music. I got all my music back, and then after less than a day it just disappeared! I know it's there, because I can see the files in MobileTerminal, but my iPod refuses to recognize and play any of it. Now, I know I can just go and resync or perhaps restore, but this is a problem I have seen soooo many cases of online, and not a single resolution. So....wtf? Does no one know anything about why it happens, and Apple hasn't fixed it? This is pretty bad.
