ok, so i changed the order with danimators customize, and when i exited it, the spinning wheel never showed up on the screen, and it froze, so i restarted it, and when it rebooted, i entered my password and the only things on the screen were the status bar and the stuff in the status bar and the wallpaper and dock... but no icons!! the last two apps i installed were caterpillar (i installed facelift only) and danimator's customize and im on 1.1.1

please someone help!! + rep to anyone who does

also, i can open them with ssh by typing (in terminal) exec /Applications/example.app/example

and also i can open them with dock app, and everything seems to be working great, but when i open caterpillar, it crashes after it shows the loading screen (it worked fine before this happened). so i tried uninstalling it in installer and it didnt do anything. the only thing i installed in caterpillar was facelift, and it was a trial, so should i wait for it to expire and then see if it goes away?? but can someone please help!!

i also tried unhiding them in customize and i also replaced the N45AP.plist with a backup but neither worked

EDIT: I thinks its facelift thats causing this, and it expires today, but it hasnt gone away from the preferences app, so maybe tomorrow it will be gone. ill check and get back to you

Open Customize via SSH and unhide the applications.

Open Installer over SSH, and install "Poof". Then run Poof by running this command over SSH:

    cd /Applications/Poof.app; ./poof

Then tap "Hidden" in the corner, and delete all the apps out of the hidden section to make them reappear. Then reboot just for kicks
