A couple of days ago, I was walking down the street listening to some music and one ear in my earphones started to cut out every now and then. Assuming the headphones had broken, I went and bought some completely different ones, only to find I had the same problem. I assume the earphone connector in the ipod has broken, and is probably not repairable, but I might as well post the problem on here.

I went to HMV where it was bought from and they said I needed to phone Apple and get a reference number so I could get it swapped over for a new one. When I phoned, they told me to go to an Apple store only I cannot because it is too far away. So, any advice on what to do would be great. If it helps, it is an 8gb 3gs iPod Touch.

    Thanks

Phone apple back. Because you can send it to then instead of going out of your way to an apple store.
