Alert Sound for Calendar

    Hi all,

    I did a synchronisation with my Outlook Calendar and I want to change the alert sound inside the Touch because the default sound is not enough lound ... There is a way to select the sound like we can do in the timer setting ???

    If it's jailbroken, yes. If not, no. Since this is in the 2G sections, the answer is not that I know of.

    where is the calendar event alert sound file located?

    matter of fact, where is the UISounds folder for all of the default Apple sounds?

    matter of fact, where is the UISounds folder for all of the default iPod sounds?

    I believe it is /System/Library/Audio/UISounds/...

    I think you could theme it by having a UISounds(like UIImages) folder in a theme.

    Yes, I found myself here via a search. Why doesn't Apple just make the Calendar alerts behave the same way the Clock Alarm alerts do. Loud, persistent until you cancel them and you can choose the sound. I can't use the Calendar 'cause I can't hear the alert. So, I have a 3G Touch with no disc mode. I've installed a program (not an app) called "TouchDrive" for Windows, but it does not seem to display system files and folders, such as the one mentioned that holds the alarm sound file. Is there an app or a program that will allow me access to those files?
