So i've been looking around to see if charging your iPhone/ iPod Touch uses AC power or continues to use battery power and i've gotten many answers. However, I was wondering whether charging your phone while it's on and using an alarm clock app will completely kill your iPhone/iPod Touch battery. I charged my first gen. iPod Touch every night from the day i got it and at the beginning of the year the battery would barely last 30 min. What is the point of the alarm clock apps if you have to lock your phone so your battery doesn't have a short life... seems pointless if that's the case. Any insight?
