aircrack on ipod touch

    hey i put aircrack on my ipod touch does it actually work or does it just give u the same key over and over again

    I think it's supposed to crack into networks or cracks WEP or something of that sort. I'm too lazy to google.

    Aircrack is a suite of tools.
    Only good if you have monitor and injection support.
    I have only managed to achieve monitor mode -_-.
    But im getting there.

    Yes, it can crack captured wep packets. The stuff that you are hearing about people getting the same keys are because they are cracking the test file that comes with the program. You cannot use airmon or airtun or any other programs that aid in cracking encrypted networks because the drivers that enable monitor mode/injection dont exist yet. The program I released was just a proof of concept, it can crack any wep/wpa packets you want, but the problem right now is actually capturing those packets and cracking them in a timely fashion.

    But is it possible? for the hardware on the iPhone/Touch to grab those packets

    Something like this would be awesome, every person in my street uses WEP, there are over 20 access points, and I'm the only one using WPA-PSK =]
